The answer always comes in up to three parts: the calculated need (the exact math), the buy amount (a practical, rounded-up purchase), and a useful equivalent (like cubic yards for bulk delivery). Every result explains its assumptions, and “Show me the math” lays out each step.

Why does the “buy” number round up?
Products sell in whole bags, boxes, and gallons. We never round down when it could leave you short — an extra bag is cheaper than a second trip.
